This article is specifically written for those people
who are just starting in article marketing with the hopes of drawing
more traffic to their website and obtaining expert label in the online
arena. Here's what you can do to make your marketing techniques more
effective:
1. Titles. Start the process by creating compelling
titles for your articles. They must not only be keyword-rich but
descriptive and benefit-driven as well. They must be able to convince
online users to open and read your articles.
2. Inverted pyramid
technique. Having great titles is surely not enough to succeed in this
endeavor. Right after getting people to open your articles, the next
thing that you need to do is to convince them to read on until they
reach your resource box. You can do this by using the inverted pyramid
technique. This simply means putting the most important, juiciest
information at the start of your articles to hold the attention of your
readers.
3. Offer in-depth information. Online users read
articles because they would like to learn. So, offer them every piece
of information that they are looking for. Never leave any stone
unturned and make sure that these people will feel well-informed after
reading your copies.
4. Your articles must be well-written. They
must be free from run-on sentences and typical errors (spelling,
grammar, syntax, and punctuation errors). Breakdown your articles into
several short paragraphs and use bullet list for your tips to make them
easy on the eyes.
5. Resource box. Maximize your resource box by
using 3 URLs or the maximum number of links allowed by publishing sites
where you post your articles to. Some publishers allow up to 5 links.
